Hi! My name is Kelsey Lewell
I have been working as a massage therapist since 2015 and started Momentum Mobile Massage Therapy in early 2021. Based in West Auckland, I am the principal massage therapist for the business.
I graduated from the New Zealand College of Massage with a certificate in relaxation massage (Level 4) in 2014, and started my career doing seated, workplace massage. Since then I have gone on to work in sports massage and general health clinics, as well as working in tandem with physiotherapists and chiropractors. I have worked with numerous professional sports teams including the NZ Warriors, Moana Pacifica, Melbourne Rebels, Wests Tigers, Tongan womens rugby league and Northern Mystics.
I love what I do and tend to work best with people who like their massage with firm pressure. My massages are not always deep, I tailor each session to the individual’s needs, but if you are looking for someone to really get in there I can get there for you.
I am not a remedial therapist and tend to deal mostly with general aches and pains. If you are looking for someone to help with more complicated health conditions I would recommend first consulting your GP or finding a therapist trained in remedial massage.
In addition to massage, I have an honours degree in mechanical engineering from AUT and worked for a number of years on movie sets in the film industry.
